• First tomato of the season

  Today, I finally was able to harvest (and immediately consume) a ripe tomato from one of the plants in my garden. I grew my first tomato plant last year, and this year I am growing 3 plants, each a different variety.
  As to be expected, the first plant to have properly ripe fruit was the cherry tomato, since I guess that larger tomatoes need more sun exposure to ripen to the same degree.

  Kiwifruit (often abbreviated as kiwi), or Chinese gooseberry is the edible berry of several species of woody vines in the genus Actinidia.
